 Pastor Betsy Arnold

Pastor Betsy Arnold believes that God is love and that the closer we live in community with one another, the closer we grow to God. God’s love is for everyone. Seekers, believers, and questioners are all welcome when the River of Life Community gathers.

Betsy also believes in the healing power of narrative, especially the stories told by Jesus. In her preaching, Betsy focuses on what the Scriptures meant historically and how that impacts Christ’s followers living in the twenty first century.

In addition to being an ordained minister with a Master’s of Divinity degree from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, Betsy is also a social worker. She holds a Masters in Social Work from Indiana University and a clinical license in the great state of Indiana. She has worked with children and adults as a therapist.

Betsy considers her status as a wife and mother of three children to be among the greatest gifts God has given her. Betsy knows that life isn’t always smooth and that loving friends and family ease our burdens.

An author, Betsy has published three novels in the Tapestry Series under her full name, Cady Elizabeth Arnold. She is working on her fourth book in the epic fantasy genre. Her books are available on Amazon, or from the trunk of her car. 😉
